Instructions: How to Submit Your Signature in Idaho.

Step 1: DOWNLOAD FORM

Download and Print the Idaho Independent Petition Form for Candidacy.

Step 2: COLLECT SIGNATURES

Collect Signatures on the Form as Follows.

  • There are four fields on the form.
  • Gather as many signatures as possible, up to 15 signatures per sheet.
  • In each row, under the first field with the heading “Signature of Petitioner,” sign using BLACK INK your handwritten signature as it appears in your voter registration record.
  • In each row, under the second field with heading “Printed Name,” write your name legibly.
  • In each row, under the third field with heading “Residence Address,” write Street Address, City and Zip Code.
  • In each row, under the fourth with heading “Date Signed,” write the current date.

Step 3: YOU MUST COMPLETE THE BOTTOM OF EACH FORM

Complete the Form as Follows.

  • At the bottom of the sheet, under Certification, write in the name of your County.
  • Ensure all signatures on each sheet are from registered voters from the same County.

Step 4: GET NOTARIZES

  • Take all completed forms and get them notarized.
  • Then take your signature sheets to a Notary at your Bank or Credit Union.
  • Fill out and sign the Certification at the bottom of the page IN FRONT OF of the Notary.

Step 5: GET SIGNATURES VERIFIED BY COUNTY

  • Submit all Notarized Petitions to the County Clerk where signees reside by February 29, 2024.
  • You can Find your County Clerk’s address here: https://voteidaho.gov/county-clerks/
  • Tell County you need them verified by March 5, 2024.
  • Call them every day to check in on them.
  • Be assertive but friendly you need them verified by March 5, 2024.

Step 6: PICK UP SIGNATURES FROM COUNTY CLERK AND MAIL THEM TO OUR PROCESSING CENTER IN IDAHO

  • Overnight USPS, FedEx, or UPS and mail to this address:
